Insurance adjuster service firm expands to Midwest

IAS Claim Services has planted its flag in the Midwest by opening a new regional office in Ann Arbor, Mich.

The company has also hired Steve Bowers to oversee all client development and operations in the region. Bowers has more than 25 years experience in major loss property, catastrophe, casualty and personal lines claims. He is responsible for building up business throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minneapolis.

San Antonio-based IAS Claim Services is one of the nation’s largest independent adjusting and insurance services firms. The company has a wholly owned subsidiary, CatCrew, that can deploy hundreds of personal and commercial lines adjusters to multiple catastrophic events in the United States within 24 hours. IAS provides claims services for multiple insurance carriers, including Farmers Insurance Co., Zurich American and State Farm Insurance Co. The company was founded in 1984.
