John Gomez is the Operations Manager for IAS Claim Services, and has held this position since beginning 1999. John is involved in various aspects as Operations Manager as well as adjuster for all California and Arizona operations including supervision and adjusting of property, casualty, and liability adjusters. He oversees management of various regional and national accounts and claims. Additionally, he continues serving as a multi-line adjuster and special account liaison for regional and national accounts.
John's career in the claims industry spans over 25 years when he began at South Coast Rehab, a Vocational Rehabilitation Center. As owner and counselor he was involved with direct interaction with injured workers through the benefit of Workers Compensation Insurance. His main focus as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor was to return the injured worker to suitable and gainful employment. This included medical and legal interaction as governed by the Workers Compensation Appeals Board. He spent the next eight years with Cunningham Lindsey Claim Services as a Manager/Adjuster for CSI Operations and continued his duties as a multi-line adjuster as well as a special account liaison for national accounts. Additionally, he supervised field operations and administrative staff. John became a senior adjuster and migrated to account liaison for several national companies where he became the Orange County Branch Manager.
John is certified for Property and Coverage Analysis through Vale National. He has completed Workers Compensation Vocational Rehabilitation Training and aspects of the law. His certifications include: Fair Claims, Earthquake and Flood (NFIP). He has been a member of the Orange County Adjusters Association since 1995 and held the position of President from 1998-1999. He is also a member of the Southern California Claims Association.
John has been happily married for 23 years and has two children. Outside of work he enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his family.
