Tony Scow, CSRM
Tony Scow is currently IAS Claim Services’ Chief Operating Officer joining the company in 2011. Tony is responsible for operations across all divisions nationally in addition to managing personnel and assisting in marketing and sales efforts of the company. He has a strong track record of producing excellent claims service for clients nationwide in addition to improving the efficiency in the claims process.
Prior to his current role as COO, Tony led IAS’ Third Party Administration division and was instrumental in leading and managing a number of major TPA accounts. His roles in TPA operations also included marketing, management of personnel and performance, as well as financials.
Prior to joining IAS, Tony served in various leadership roles with Crawford & Company including the position of Branch Manager of South Texas Operations. During his time at Crawford & Company, he also served as client service manager for USAA, The Hartford and the Armed Forces Insurance. He acted as regional manager and ran the direct repair program where he assigned contractors to all types of claims. He was also the national liaison to direct repair program for USAA before moving onto client service management where he represented Crawford & Company and managed TPA accounts. His previous third-party claims administration experience includes managing a large public entity risk pool, comprised of over 200 school districts and colleges in Texas. He also administered claims for an international writer of liability insurance for commercial truck fleets operating between Mexico and the United States.
In 2007, Tony received the Circle of Excellence Award for leading a top performing branch office based on financial performance, quality and low employee turnover. Tony is also a Certified School Risk Manager (CSRM) by the National Alliance for Insurance and Education & Research as well as earned a certification as a Zenger-Miller Training Facilitator.
He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. Tony has been married for 26 years and has two children. Outside of work he enjoys hunting, fishing and camping activities. Tony is also involved in the community and volunteers with Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics and is a financial supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
