Larry Cochran
Owner and CEO acquired IAS in December 2006. Larry Cochran has been involved as an owner, manager or consultant in numerous businesses in energy, construction, engineering, insurance and consumer products industries over the past 25 years. Larry Cochran obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Texas A&M University as a student of the College of Business Administration Fellows Program. Larry Cochran subsequently obtained his CPA. He is actively involved in many charitable and professional organizations.
David Terry
President of IAS, began his insurance services career in 1963 with GAB Robbins. Since then, he has been a proven leader in the property and casualty claims adjusting industry. David Terry joined IAS in 1985 where he has managed the growth of the Company into one of the top 20 independent adjusting firms in the US. David Terry obtained his Bachelor of Business and MBA from Texas Christian University where he also played on the TCU baseball team. He is active in many insurance and claims professional organizations.
Jeff Bottem
President of Cat Crew, Inc., started specializing in catastrophic claim adjustment for GAB Robbins in 1974. In 1990, Jeff Bottem joined IAS and helped form the CAT division (Cat Crew). Since starting Cat Crew, Jeff Bottem is credited with building one of the highest regarded catastrophic claims adjusting teams in the US. He has worked and supervised over 100 different CAT storms throughout the US in the past 33 years. Jeff Bottem received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin. He has participated in numerous property and casualty training programs both as a participant and instructor.
Richard Morrison
National Manager of Cat Crew, has been with IAS since 1996. Prior to IAS, Richard Morrison was an independent claims adjuster working for numerous companies as a subcontractor. Richard Morrison has supervised tens of thousands of catastrophic claims for Cat Crew with excellent efficiency and client satisfaction. In addition to his career as a catastrophic adjuster, Richard Morrison spent over 10 years in the construction industry as a carpenter, superintendent, project manager and estimator. Richard Morrison studied at the College of Engineering at Louisiana Tech University.
Kevin Ford
Regional Manager of IAS, has been with IAS since 2000. Kevin Ford is the Dallas/Fort Worth and Houston Branch Manager for IAS. Since joining IAS, Kevin Ford has been an innovation leader helping IAS transform its technology and business processes taking IAS into new areas of efficiency and paving the way for significant improvements in our services. Kevin Ford is also responsible for leading our Third Party Administration (TPA) services, a growing service line of IAS. Kevin Ford received his Bachelor of Science degree from Baylor University where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
Steve Perry
Regional Manager of IAS, has over 34 years experience in independent adjusting and claims management with the last 13 years with IAS. Prior to IAS, Steve Perry worked in various adjuster and management positions at GAB from 1974 to 1993. Steve Perry is the branch Manager of our Austin and San Antonio, Texas offices, however he is frequently on the road working with clients throughout the South and Southeastern US. Steve Perry has been a key leader in developing many of our largest client teams as well as on-site management of CAT teams over the past 13 years. He is experienced in both casualty and property adjusting and has received the AIC designation. Steve Perry is Past President of the Austin Claims Association. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from West Texas State University.
John Reed
Regional Manager of IAS, has run IAS’ Louisiana office since joining us in 1995. John Reed began his insurance services career with GAB Robbins in 1989 as a property and casualty adjuster. John Reed spent two years as a Farm Bureau broker/agent before returning to independent adjusting with Crawford & Company in 1993. John Reed is a member of the Baton Rouge Claims Association. He received is Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southwest Louisiana where he was inducted into the MU Kappa TAU honor society.
Chris McKee
Director of Accounting and Finance. Chris McKee took over the accounting and finance of IAS through his company Venturity Financial Partners in January 2007. Chris McKee began his accounting career with Arthur Andersen in 1989. Since then, Chris McKee has performed Controller and CFO duties for a number of large companies in Texas, including Busybody Fitness Warehouses and US Cardiovascular. In addition to these, Chris McKee has performed accounting or auditing work for The Bombay Company, Zale Corporation, Carlson Worldwide (TGI Fridays) and Glazer Wholesale and Distributors. Chris McKee is a CPA and received his Bachelor of Business in Accountancy from the University of Mississippi.
Jason Ricketts
Director of Information Technology and Management Information Systems was brought into IAS as our outsourced IT department in December 2006 after new ownership took control of IAS. Since his arrival, Jason Ricketts has identified and implemented a new web-based claims adjusting software package, relocated our email hosting service to a tier 1 level provider, and coordinated the telcom and IT relocation of our Dallas headquarters. Jason Ricketts brings significant technology, innovation and entrepreneurial talent to IAS to help us achieve our Mission.
