Our managers at IAS and our sister company CAT Crew® have worked over 100 catastrophes in the past three decades. This extensive experience provides our company with one of the best reputations for delivering high quality, rapid response CAT services in the United States. Today we are leveraging this vast experience with new technologies, processes and people to provide superior client success in dealing with CAT claims. Following are the key elements of our CAT response team:
- Pre-screened and qualified adjusters ready to be deployed within 24 to 48 hours of a CAT
- Mobile control center and housing units ready to be deployed within 24 to 48 hours of a CAT
- Pre-arranged satellite communications for control center and personnel to allow for continuous communications with clients, adjusters and insureds
- Call center operations set up and ready for assisting adjusters, clients and insureds to ensure timely and consistent service
- Online claim system that allows clients and adjusters to login, assign claims, email, write or view notes, review status of claims and produce management reports
- Offsite and onsite training through IAS’s wholly-owned training company – Training Unlimited/Claims Career Institute
- Training and Control Center in Dallas/Fort Worth Headquarters to allow for continuous, uninterrupted service to CAT locations
IAS takes great pride in the expertise and quality product produced by our claims personnel. The Catastrophe Team is comprised of adjusters and managers specifically selected for their catastrophe training, experience and qualifications. Our adjusters are carefully screened, receiving thorough background checks. Reviews are conducted on CAT field personnel to evaluate their experience and capabilities in work product and coverage knowledge. These reviews allow our CAT managers to establish various levels of expertise to meet any of our Client’s specific requirements. Our adjusters continue to be evaluated periodically to provide the highest level of proficiency possible.
IAS also has a strategic preplanning process in place with our Clients to ensure all field adjusters have correct policy information and handling guidelines when claims are disbursed. This preplanning and the resulting tools helps to reduce our cycle time in deploying to a CAT location by eliminating the need for training sessions before claims are inspected. When necessary, we will bring in Training Unlimited to a storm site to assist in training or providing refresher courses for adjusters on location to improve client-specific quality and consistency.
